The Valerio Adami Archive announces the start of work on the General Catalogue dedicated to the Maestro’s oeuvre.
Under the scholarly supervision of Lorenzo Madaro, the project begins with works created between 1958 and 1978. This endeavour stems from the need to re-examine, document and present a decisive period in Valerio Adami’s career: from his formative years and early independent works through to the full development of an artistic language capable of spanning the second half of the twentieth century in Europe and internationally with absolute distinctiveness.
In preparation for this major archiving and research project, the Archive invites collectors, institutions, foundations, museums and galleries to come forward with paintings, drawings, watercolours and other materials related to the artist’s body of work.
